Sustainable Ministry
Strength in Weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9
“My grace is sufficient for you.”
Paul heard that in the middle of limitation.
He wanted something removed. God offered something deeper.
Grace.
This is hard for worship leaders because we are trained to hold it together. We are often the people who show up early, stay late, and absorb pressure so everyone else can worship.
But the danger is that ministry can turn into a performance of strength.
You can sing about trust while living in anxiety. You can preach surrender while clenching your life with control. You can lead worship while secretly drowning.
Paul’s weakness became the place where God’s power was seen, not because weakness is good, but because it forced him into dependence.
Sustainable ministry requires honesty.
You are not called to be impressive. You are called to be faithful.
This week, do not hide your weakness from God. Do not hide it from trusted people. Bring it into the light.
Grace is sufficient.
And when you stop pretending, your soul can finally breathe again.

Prayer
Jesus, we bring You our weakness. We do not want to pretend. Let Your grace meet us where we are. Make us humble enough to ask for help and confident enough to rest in Your strength.
