Excellence and Craft

Good Managers

1 Peter 4:10

“As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.”

That word managers is a gift.

You are not an owner. You are a steward.

Your voice is not yours. Your skill is not yours. Your role is not yours.

It is grace. And it was given for service.

This changes how you approach excellence.

Excellence is not about proving you belong. Excellence is about honoring what you have been entrusted with. Excellence is about serving your team and your church with care.

A steward practices. A steward prepares. A steward shows up on time. A steward learns their part. A steward builds systems that help others succeed.

Not because they are anxious.

Because they are faithful.

This week, lead like a manager of grace. Let your craft become love in action.
