Theme: Worthy

Worthiness is the great theme of the heavenly worship in Revelation — the cry of the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders before the throne: 'Worthy is the Lamb!' Songs about the worthiness of God and of Christ bring that heavenly declaration into the earthly gathering, aligning the church on earth with the worship that never ceases in heaven. These songs cut through distraction and self-focus by redirecting attention entirely to the One who deserves all praise — not because worship benefits him in the way it benefits us, but because he is genuinely, objectively, eternally worthy of everything the church can offer. Worthy songs are acts of justice as much as devotion: giving God what he is rightly due.
