Theme: Unity

The prayer of Jesus in John 17 was that his followers would be one as he and the Father are one. Unity songs are rooted in this prayer, celebrating the supernatural bond that the Spirit creates among believers across every difference of background, culture, and experience. These songs are especially powerful in diverse congregations and ecumenical settings, where the visible unity of the church becomes a declaration to a divided world. They remind the congregation that the body of Christ is not a collection of individuals but a community, and that love between believers is itself a form of witness.
