Theme: Overcoming

In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Songs of overcoming celebrate the victory that belongs to every believer in Christ — not the victory of never facing hardship, but the victory of facing every hardship from a position of final, settled triumph. They draw on Romans 8 and Revelation's vision of the overcomers, reminding the congregation that the resurrection of Jesus is the decisive verdict on the outcome of every battle. These songs give the church language for standing in faith before outcomes it cannot yet see.
