Theme: Gathering

Where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them — the gathered church is not merely a social event but a theological reality. Songs in this theme celebrate the miracle of the assembled people of God: diverse, unlikely, united by nothing human and everything divine, gathered around the person of Jesus in ways that transcend every division the world uses to separate people. They celebrate what it means to belong to a congregation — to be one among many who are finding that the God who promised to show up when His people gather has not broken that promise.
