Theme: Chosen

You did not choose me, but I chose you — and in that reversal is the foundation of the believer's security and mission. Songs of being chosen by God celebrate the electing love that sought the worshiper before they knew they were being sought, that called them by name when they were still far off, that established their standing before the foundation of the world. These songs answer the deep human fear of rejection with the most unambiguous declaration in all of Scripture: you are wanted, you are chosen, and no one can take that away.
