Theme: Breakthrough

Breakthrough is one of those worship themes that can tip into triumphalism if it's not handled carefully — but at its core, it's simply a theology of prayer: that God hears, that God acts, that barriers come down when His people press in with faith. Songs about breakthrough belong in the arsenal of any congregation that's been praying and waiting, believing for something that hasn't yet come. They're declarations of faith that God is able, that the walls will fall, that what seems impossible to us is not impossible to Him.
