Theme: Availability
Showing 2 songs
There's a posture in worship that goes beyond praise and even beyond surrender — it's the posture of availability. 'Here I am, Lord. Use me.' Songs about availability are essentially the Isaiah 6 moment set to music: we've been undone by the holiness of God, our sin has been dealt with, and now we stand before Him ready to be sent. These songs work particularly well after deep confession or surrender, when the congregation has emptied itself before God and is now ready to receive a commission. They're less about feeling good and more about being useful — which is one of the most important things worship can produce in the life of a disciple.
