Theme: Armor Of God

Put on the full armor of God — this command from Ephesians 6 has inspired some of the most boldly declarative worship songs in the church's library. Songs of the armor of God speak to the reality of spiritual warfare without descending into fear, equipping congregations with the language of the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit. These songs are prayed as much as they are sung — declarations of readiness and trust in the God who goes before His people into every battle.
